PROJECT: Bathroom Make-Over

OBJECTIVE:

  • Remove the side of the jacuzzi tub and create a new access point to the motor in the room next door in order to tile the side of the tub and avoid having a visible door.
  • Remove the floor tiles and shower tiles.
  • Framing on the shower head side wall was rotted so it was reframed to make it structurally sound.
  • Old plumbing was also rotted so new copper piping was installed.
  • Tile the floor with new marble tiles.
  • Tile the shower with ceramic tiles and a marble/glass mosaic accent matching the bathroom floors and sink.
  • Frame the side of the jakuzzi and tile to match shower.
  • Install a new shower door.
  • Install new shower fixtures.
  • Purchase an unfinished cabinet and finish with a mahogany stain/polyurethane and install hardware.
  • Install a custom granite counter-top.
  • Install a marble vessel sink matching the marble floors of the bathroom.
  • Install vessel faucet.
  • Install a new toilet and vent cover.
  • Install 5″ baseboards throughout the entire bathroom.
  • Paint the bathroom and install new mirror.
